Do I have to join the My Freecycle website to be a member of the local Yahoo group?
No, you can join the local Yahoo Group and still participate with Freecycle without joining the My Freecycle website.
You do however have to be a member of the Freecycle Yahoo Group in order to participate on My Freecycle.
